You're doing everything right, so why is it not enough?
Nobody told you that the moment you get funded… the real stress-test begins.
For founders who’ve gotten funding — or are chasing it — I help you build the systems that protect your mission when the money hits.
The problem isn't your nonprofit mission...
The problem is your infrastructure.
Most community‑rooted nonprofits are program‑first organizations. That's okay, but the burnout you feel is because..

No one taught structure
and
You inherited the load.

but
not the systems to prove it.
You focused on where your heart is-helping your community.
You feel it every day, even when you can't name it.
You feel the pressure when you:
try to get a grant
spend funding
report on a grant
promise a program
try to grow
try to rest
You feel the quiet fear that:
you’re missing something
you’re not doing it “right”
you’re one decision away from losing everything
you’re disappointing your community
you’re not funder‑ready
you’re not the right fit
This is the pain of underbuilt infrastructure.

If nothing changes, gaps get bigger.
Missing filings
Commingled funds
No documentation
No reserves
No program QA
No audit trail
No budgeting clarity
No strategic allocation
.
The biggest risk: one delayed payment or a non‑renewed grant —
everything can be restricted fast and collapse.
When we build your infrastructure,
everything else gets easier.
You get to:
Serve your community with less stress
Run your programs without scrambling
Know what’s working and what needs to improve
Make decisions with clarity instead of guessing
Use your funding wisely and strategically
Grow without everything falling on you
You feel the difference:
You stop running on adrenaline and start running on structure.
You stop holding everything in your head and start leading with confidence.
You stop surviving and start building something that lasts.
About the Author

Catherine is a nonprofit infrastructure expert with 25 years in personal and business finance. She built and oversaw the compliance and delivery systems for a national HUD foreclosure prevention program during the 2008 economic crisis — and she grew up beside a community food pantry her father ran for 40 years, watching it collapse not from lack of love, but lack of infrastructure.
That combination of lived experience and hard-won expertise is exactly what she brings to Rising Rose LLC — helping nonprofits build the systems, documentation, and clarity that keep their missions funded and running.
Her core belief: The mission is the heart. Infrastructure is the heartbeat.
About the Book

She is also the author of Then Life Tilted — because before you can fix your finances, you have to stop and feel what just happened to you. Catherine knows that founders can't build strong organizations while they're still tilted. Rising Rose is where the grounding and the structure meet.
